I only meant a snippet of the word but just as well you misunderstood.
It appears several times on the page.
As does quite a few other place names, and so far I haven't found any of them.
This guy seems to be making up spellings or places as he goes along, I'm assuming he was new and totally unfamiliar with the place names.
What year is this record from? Am I right in thinking it's the 1880s, I wonder if we can find any of the people on the 1901 Census or Griffith's Valuation.

They all say Co.Mayo, so the Civil Parish of Robeen. Not your William.

Hi, Robert Joseph Coyne is my ancestor His father William coyne b 1798 armagh d 1875. my family history is on ancestry.com. I am also trying to locate information on how Williams property was bequeathed. On Robert Josephs death certificate it states father William mother unknown. Pretty weird really. If you find out the school with history I would love to hear and likewise if I find out I will let you know.
