(Died 1940)
Jessie Mitchell's death is given as 1879 at 85 River St. , Brechin

I note a William Ross with James Hardy in 1881

A birth and marriage certificate will probably be my next move.

Are Betsey Mitchell and Rachel McHardy the same person ?
Did Jess Mitchell marry either my relation James McHardie or William Ross ?

Yes I agree must get full census returns, was concentrating on my direct line only.
Also good work with the other finds.

SP - 30 credits for £7 , 6 credits per cert. , so not bad if you are sure of the correct ones
Certificates viewable online(Births to 1911 , Marriages to 1936 , Deaths to 1961)


Jessie Mitchell's death cert. should reveal if she married or not
