May I suggest that Frank may have been the English version of his christian name ?...more likely to be Francesco ?...Fasono sounds Spanish or Portugese or Maltese to me ..IF THE FIRST BORN WAS 1924??...do you think maybe Frank fought in the 1st world war and met Agnes and married her in his country ...they may even of had more children in another country prior to Marguerite in 1924 - Marguerite is not an English name and I wouldn`t mind betting Franks mum was named Marguerite....allan

From what we know Fasono is an Italian Surname so your idea about a different forename is probably bang on.

1 in Algeria
1 in America - Braintree, Massachusetts

were the forces in Algeria in WW1 ?..... do you know the occupation of Frank Fasono ? I will see if I can find him in 1911

and Marguerite is French version of Margaret ?

The Frank on 1911 census is only 9, if the death I found is correct then he would have been born abt 1892.

Francesco Fascione married Philomena & they had from what I can see  2 children. Philomena died 1977, Halifax, West Yorkshire.
I can not see a death for Franceso or find them in 1911.
