Did Violet actually go to US with Frank as there is a Violet Forrester Demus in the electoral rolls up to 1981 at Mt Albert and i can't pick up any record of her in canada or US

Umm doesn't look like either of them went to the US. Frank Hamerton Demus died 1954 in NZ. Referance # 1954/29705
So their children should also be there.
MODIFIED to add: That his age at death was given as 54 so born 1900.

did a search for Demus, and there is a record of Probate for Violet in 1987. Frank in 1954, also a few records for the Simcock's.

Also did a name search on Mr Google and found a death notice for a Donald Alexander Demus who died in 2011,( found the obit on the Hauraki Herald's Digital Edition)  he maybe connected, who knows. I think I should stop looking as I may be leading us all up the garden path.

He did also have a namesake there so could be relies in US or Canada?

I'm related to some of these people by marriage through my father, but I can't figure out how! I have entered a lot of Simcock/Simcox family details onto Red1st.com where you can view all Trees for free.

Maggie Simcock nee Forrester died Christchurch New Zealand 1961
3 children - Violet Forrester, Constance Cecily and Robert (called Bob)
Bob childless
Constance Cecily married Donald Macdonald from Isle of Lewis, Scotland on 4th February 1935 in Chistchurch, New Zealand
Two children, six grandchildren (5 surviving), six great grandchildren, all living in Christchurch New Zealand.
