Help with marriage certificate

I have a copy of a marriage cert, where it says "name and maiden surname of mother" it appears to read.

Adient or Adjent  Alexander Buley m.s Milroy

Can anyone tell me what this means please  ???

does this help.


His brother Alexander Templeton was a witness.
