The Hood family of Whitburn

Hello Ive come to a brick wall and wonder if anybody has info on

John Hood born abr 1841? possible Whitburn married a Millicent possible bef 1865. I have two children whom give John and Millicent and there parents.

1) Jane Hood born. 23/1/1865 Whitburn (my ancestor)
2) Robert Leggat Hood born. 26/3/1867 Witburn

There a Peter and Janet Hood of Whitburb born abt 1816 &n 1815, but unsure if these are related to my Hoods

The two births you have both seem to have mother as Helen Hood , no father named
