Peter Griffiths 1809 Argoed can anyone help??

Hi I am posting this message on behalf of my partner, he doesn't know Ive posted this because he's given up on finding the information he needs but if anyone can help that would be great:)

On the 1861 census his family are:- Peter Griffiths 52 1809 coal miner born in Argoed
                                                       Elizabeth Griffiths 43 1818 wife
                                                       Frances Griffiths 15 1846
                                                       George Griffiths 3 1858
George was classed as deaf and both he and his wife could speak English and welsh.

Then he has on the 1891 census:- George Griffiths 33 1858 poultry dealer Mynydd Isa
                                                        Jane Griffiths 32 1859 wife
                                                        Margaret e Griffiths 7 1884
                                                        John H Griffiths 4 1887
                                                        May E Griffiths 1 1890
There is another family living in the area at the same time Peter Griffiths married to Arrabella this is not his family but there is more info on them, he would like to find parents or Maiden names of peter Griffiths and his wife Elizabeth, if anyone could help that would be great:)

Hi, the simplest way to find mothers maiden name is by getting a birth certiciate of one of the children. These seem to be a good match.
There`s quite a good few years between them.

In the parish of Mold which covers Argoed there is a marriage of Peter Griffiths to Elizabeth Hewitt on Boxing Day 1836. Witnesses were Thomas Woodhouse and Margaret Edwards.

No other marriages fit the bill so I think this is a fairly safe bet.
