I know several of his (Thomas Easwood) son's died in the war. My grandfather ( his son) came to the US from Scotland and another son moved to Luton, England. No information on the daughters.
Our grandmother is from your area too. Her name was Sabina Conneely.
Two cousins still live in the area. Tom and Patrick. We are also related to the
 Joyce's in the area.

I would love to see pictures of the farm. Would also love to revisit. We stayed in a white two storied B & B on the lake there.

" Much more can be found about your Eastwood great-grandfather and his brother who founded Addegoole Farm c. 1848 in between Letterfrack and Kylemore, co. Galway in Sidney Godolphin Osborne's Famine narrative "Gleanings in the West of Ireland," chapter 6 (pp. 85-87). I am currently annotating an edition which will be published in 2017 or 2018 by Nova Press.
