Parents John Lombard and Mary Decourcey/ married in Tralee in 1813 (assumed).
Found one brother John Lombard born 4th July 1827 in Kerry, who arrived in Melbourne Victoria, Australia, in 1853 and died here in 1917.

(2) Arthur King, born 1815 (abt) in Ireland died on 11 Dec 1870, in Chittagong. Bengal, India.

See Kerry parish records at www.irishgenealogy.ie

It doesn't seem to show a marriage for Mary Lombard.

Maybe you would be better searching the other way.. do you have a Mary Lombard and Arthur King in your ancestry ?

Where did they end up, how did you link up with this Mary Lombard in Kerry ?

Shane, Sorry for the delay in replying to you. Yes, I have tried researching the other way.
Arthur King died in India. He had two marriages (I have his will) however I have been unable to find out his wives names. One of his daughters, is my gr gr grand mother. The Lombards, left money to my family members and Mary Lombard's brother, John, sponsored my grand father when he came to Australia.

Thanks for you help. suchin.

Hi 'suchin'

Do you not have your gr gr grandmother's birth cert ??

Do you know where Arthur's children were born ?

Do you have Arthur on any census ?

Was Arthur in the military ?

HA Lot's of q's just to try and narrow down a search !

Hi 'suchin'

You also have messages on the India board which you need to ask the moderators to link up to this one.

If Arthur was district superintendant of police in Chittagong, were there not some sort of work records for him to get leads from.

Did he go to India straight from Ireland ?

Do you know was he married before getting to India ?

I found this which MAY be your best lead to follow up

In 1839 Castleisland there was an Arthur King and John Lombard being witness' at a baptism
