1881 Cotbank Barras , Kinneff & Catterline , Kincardine
William Taylor 63 widower farmer b. Dunnottar
Arthur Taylor 28 son b. Kinneff
Alexander Taylor 26 son b. Kinneff
Mary Taylor 32 dau. b. Kinneff(showing as unmarried)
Lavinia Taylor 17 dau. b. Kinneff
John Longmuir 12 Gson b. Dunnottar

Might get a bit confusing if your John Longmuir has a mother and a wife both called Mary Taylor , also
wondering if John's parents(Andrew Longmuir/Mary Taylor) were married  :-\

I was wondering if you had a tree on ancestry.com that I might look at?? I am looking for my Christie side of my tree and am finding it to be really hard!! Too many Alexanders of which I have no middle names for. If you could help me please contact me.

Hi apple666 ,

I note you already have a post on the Scotland General board -

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,620911.0.html

Perhaps it would be best to give any details you have about your Alexander Christie on that post.

Thank you. I am so new to this site I could not figure out how to use it. I kept trying to email someone I wanted to talk to actually names Pittyman67 cause someone told me they thought we might be related. I am used to using ancestry.com and never thought of this site.
