Details of George Dockerill on 1851 census would be much appreciated.  He was born 1828 Bartlow, Cambridgeshire.  As he married in York in 1852 it would seem he could be in York on 1851 census as he is not with his family in Bartlow.

If someone could find him on 1851 census and let me have details, I would be very grateful.

With many thanks.

Hello Karenlee

Good morning to you too.  I am sure it will be the right person as it is an unusual surname in York.  No births of that surname come up until 1853.   He is an elusive man!  He died in 1879 aged 51 but I am unable to find him on 1871 using the basic search on FindMyPast.  His wife and children come up but he seems to have disappeared!  Something to keep my busy on another night.

Thank you very much for your help - it is much appreciated.

With grateful thanks.
