This inscription is on a headstone in the parish graveyard in The Rower Co Kilkenny which is about five miles from New Ross. Garnavabby House is also in The Rower

Sacred to the Memory of

William Houston King

Who departed this life at Garnavabby House March 17th 1870 .

Born in Pergusti, Renfrewshire Nov 1801.

This small tribute of Gratitude and affection was erected by his bereaved widow and Family.

Also in loving remembrance of his little Grandson William H K McLean who died on March 25 1862
