Hi,

Is father's occ Wheelwright??

Who are witnesses?

I think I have found her

Suz

Yes he is listed as being a Wheelwright. Witness are hard to read but it looks like 'William Lewis' for the first witness.

HI,

It looks like we have found the correct family and Susan's mother was Ann Codgell

I previously posted 1861 census for William and Ann Barnes -but didn't post details of their neighbours -wonder if this is the William Lewis who was a witness at Susan Barnes' marriage??

1861 Seven Stars Church St Chesham Bucks
William Barnes head M 56
Ann wife 49
Esther 25
Jesse 21
George 20
William 18
Ann 16
Henry 14
John 9
Eugenie 5
all b Chesham

next door
George Lewis Head M 50 Fruiterer
Elizabeth wife 45
WILLIAM son U 28 Carrier
Harriet daughter 17
Walter son 15 shoe maker
Henry son 12
