Not sure when she moved to there. This is her in 1974, the only photo I think I have of her.

I remember that picture she had with the fisherman pointing out to sea.
The coalman was Cappy Oswald I think, my dad worked for the Co-op coal deliveries in those days.
We lived around the corner from my gran's. 33d Hunter Crescent we were. I was only about 4 or 5 when we left Hunters in 1973 or 1974 so don't have many memories of it.

Sorry, I don't recognise her at all.

I'm not sure exactly which end 33 was so can you give me a couple of names you remember please as we were not really supposed to venture into the crescent lol..................nothing to do with anything other than safety for keeping an eye on us.
We all just met up in the swing park  ;D

Just been speaking to my mum. She reckons they all moved to Hunters in the early 60s. My gran originally lived in Ruthven Avenue (number six maybe?) before moving round to Hunter Terrace.

My mum remembers the Elliotts, reckons they maybe had a disabled son who died? Possibly a family called Drummond also lived in my granny's block of four?

She reckons the sweetie place was called Campbells?

That's right, same name as film "Billy" - was sad really, a very nice family.
Not sure of the sweet factory name to be honest but lucky we weren't killed on the railway.
My mother died in Ruthven Ave 1984 aged only 43

She now remembers another family in Hunter Terrace which I'm guessing was almost certainly yours!  :)

There was the McGoldricks as well?

That family lived in the crescent on right hand side heading to dump. I recall the surname but that's all.
