Joseph Meech at 10 Downing Street
« on: Tuesday 10 July 12 00:33 BST (UK) »
Is there any kind individual who can help me track the later (after 1881) history of this individual. He was born in Buckland Newton abt 1862, baptised 20 Apr 1862, and in 1881 shows up as a footman at 10 Downing Street working for William Ewart Gladstone, Prime Minister at the time. After that he disappears from the records. Thank you in advance for any help

Have you tried Familysearch.org

There seems to be numerous Meech's in the area of Buckland-Newton and Beaminster.  This family is well known in that area of Dorset.

Good Luck
