Thank you for this. I have done some research over the last month and I am related back to through my great grandfather Robert Charles (1891 -1988) right back to Jane Charles (1810 - 1890) and her husband William Charles (1809 -1879). My research didn’t pick up on Andrew Charles and a Hessin moving to England as per the above thread. I’m really keen to explore this if there is anybody that can help me. Thanks

There's a Will somewhere.... it might give clues as to where he lived or married
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

I wonder if it is possible to get in contact with the individual called glove / Jenny in the thread? It appears she has a comprehensive knowledge of the Charles family especially Andrew and Hessin
