Deadants and Ken

I am lost for words. Isn't he lovely looking bloke. Shame I can't meet him.

I'm even more determined to learn these skills.

Thankyou both so much.

I forgot to say I know I can lose the frame by cropping it but I can't scan these without the frame as they are stuck onto it.

Hi Jane

I have only been doing this for about 2/3 months using PSP9 and help from deadants. I still dont know what most of the buttons are for, but for the first few weeks it was trial and error.
what I have done here is very basic and easy to do, so dont give up its great fun.

Regards
Ken

Hi Deadants and Ken

I have followed your scanning tutorial to the letter and then went on Ultimate paint 6 and then got stuck. I couldn't work out how to do the layers. I assume this is the key to colourising the image. I got to the layers menu and then didn't know how to set them up.

Yes, you are correct Layers is the magic tool that makes these programes fly.

I didn't think Ultimate paint had Layers that's why I suggest you get Photoshop Elements 3 Or PaintShopPro. I just had another look in the ultimate paint help files and it has no reference to layers at all.
