This baptism shows abode as Dodleston and occupation of Charles as "farmer" - does this fit?

Charles is listed as "formerly a farmer" on his death certificate and some off spring birth places change from Bieston, Denbighshire to Dodleston, Cheshire so at the mo it seems to fit (fingers crossed)!

bap 25 Dec 1832  William Vaughan s/o Charles & Ellen    Doddleston  Farmer
bap 05 May 1833 Eleanor   ditto
bap 27 Sept 1835  Charles  ditto

If all three tie up with your family I'd say this Eleanor is definitely your Ellen.

the thing that threw me was birth years were two to four years out, making me think they could not be the same family, so I discarded them
it was the birth place of William especially that kept changing as mentioned which made me think there was something to connect them
I think it must be the same off spring after all as you say - just a pity the 1841 census is missing which would find them when so much younger and closer to the birth years
