Hello

I was wondering if anyone lives in Rhyl?.I have just found out that a relative of mine,namely Private Arthur Parr of the 5th Battallion,Royal Welsh Fusilliers died on 14th August 1916.He is named on the Rhyl war memorial & is buried in Rhyl church [Cemetery].I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to take a photograph of his grave & war memorial please?.Quite happy to pay costs.

Hello again:
Just checked the memorial site: He is 'commemerated' at Rhyl Town Cemetery.
That suggests there will not be a headstone.
Rhyl Town cemetary and the Church cemetery are two different sites opposite each other.
A lot of the men listed are commemorated at Rhyl Town cemetery.
I can't think where that can be.

On the CWWG site,it says church cemetery,so I`m guessing the person who added the details,didn`t know the difference between a churchyard & cemetery?It says he is buried in grave 1119.Obviously,I don`t want you spending hours looking for a needle in a haystack,so don`t worry,it was a kind offer.
