Can you include birthyears for wife and children and whether they are shown as born in or outside Carmarthen

Thanks z, Hope to sort out this family but with the name changing from David to Davies and so many it is confusing to say the least but any info. is welcome.
Going back to 1841 Census I have been given info. that a John Davids age 75 and wife Elizabeth age 70 lived at Mount Pleasant. Would there be any occupation for John. I know the birthplace is not given on the Census but sometimes an occupation. They probably both died before 1851 which is still difficult with such a common name.  Thanks for your time it is appreciated. Syljun

Hi z, Me again, I have found a John Davies b. 1826 Llanartheney on Family Search. Sub-district Llangendeine - 1841 Census - age 15 so possibly still with family. Could I trouble you to look for him please if only to discount the Davies family at Cwmcoch Farm in 1851. Many thanks, Syljun

Hi again

And just to add

Going back to 1841 Census I have been given info. that a John Davids age 75 and wife Elizabeth age 70 lived at Mount Pleasant. Would there be any occupation for John. I know the birthplace is not given on the Census but sometimes an occupation.

1841 H0107 1379 Bk5 Dist5 Folio7 Pg7 - Civil Parish Llanedy - Township Llanelly - Address Mount Pleasant
John Davids 75 - Carpenter
Elizabeth Davids 70
Both born in County

and also on the same page and living at Mount Pleasant ..................

John David 35 - Mason
Elizabeth David 35
John David 10
Mary David 8
Ann David 6
Thomas David 2mths
All born in County

this is the family I found earlier on in this thread only in 1851 Elizabeth is a widow

Any good?

Thank you z, I know I have been a pain but your help has been invaluable. Hopefully if I can get baptism records of Llanarthney I will be able to go further. Hoping the family joins up sometime with GRt.Grt,Grandfather William. This is a long standing search making it difficult with name changes. Had various attempts to sort them out but have always found Carmarthen difficult. No michrofiche seem to be available and purchased disc of Llandarrog which is "wanting". Thanks again,Syljun
