Yes - that's her, Heather, and she is described as a widow. The problem is that I cannot find Joseph's death. So I wondered if he just up and left her. And then I wondered if he did that she might claim to be a widow, but not actually be one. I suppose he might have gone to sea, since they lived in Liverpool.

The only 2 deaths that I could find were in Manchester 1847 and 1848

Hi Heather - yes - and if you search FindMyPast's parish burials, one of those was a baby. The other one might be my Joseph, but I cannot say for certain unless I spend money on the death cert!!

I am looking for living descendants of Joseph Macnab (1842-1898) living at Newton in 1868. Joseph's grandfather Mungo McNab is my great great grandfather.
