I recently acquired Mary Ridge/Rydge's and Martin Folan's marriage - date - 28th Feb 1881
Mary's father was called James Ridge/Rydge and lived in a townland called Derrykyle.
Martin's father was called Thomas from Teach Mor, (Taghmore) Loughaunbeg
I found both the names Thomas Folan and James Ridge on Griffiths Valuation in the area named above but am not sure if it is them or their fathers or uncles..
Again if anyone recognises this info from their own research please feel free to contact me.

I have Folan roots my great grandmother was Katherine Folan possibly born in the lettermore/carraroe /ballinakill area in Galway she married Michael Coyne

I have just started working on my McDonagh family tree, and I wonder if this is the same family. My grandmother Brid O'Toole, who married Bartley McDonagh, was the daughter of Mary Connolly  (who was known as Maimee?) and Colm O'Toole. Mary Connolly was the daughter of Larry Connolly.

Thank you! Based on the information Baya10 has given and that I have,  I really think we have the same family tree and would love to figure out if this is the case. I would be Mary Connolly great granddaughter.
