Hethe and Cottisford Photographs with possible ancestors

Hi all,

I have some photographs of Hethe and Cottisford with a number of people in I am yet to identify. I have photos of:
- Cottisford Old Rectory.
- Cottisford Village Scene with a man and child with a horse and cart outside a large house.
- A picture of Cottisford crossroads showing houses and a number of locals.
- A large farmhouse in the area with a woman and young girl stood outside.
- 2 pictures of Hethe in the snow.
- Another photo of Hethe in the snow outside the Whitmore Arms with a few people outside.
- Hethe post office with about 10 people stood outside.

I think they all date from about 1900-1910 - if anybody is interested or thinks they may be able to identify anybody I would be very interested in hearing from them. Just drop me a PM with your email address and I will send the pictures in a better resolution

Hello Jack

My great grandfather on my mother's side, Joseph Morgan, was postmaster at Hethe Post Office until his death in 1921. I would love to see the photos you have of the Post Office and the Whitmore Arms, and hopefully be able to identify some of the people in the photographs.

Dear Jack

I was searching for Hethe records and came across your photos on RootsChat.  I manage a web site, www.cherwell.gov.uk/hethepc, and edit a newsletter for Hethe which features historical information about the parish.  We would be very interested in seeing your photos of Hethe.  I am sure that we can find someone still in the village who can identify the people in the photos.

I have just joined Rootschat and was very interested to see the photographs of Hethe and Cottesford which you posted several years ago.
Please could I ask you to you send me better resolution images of these photos. I have an elderly relative who would be very interested to see them and who is likely to be able to identify some the people in the photos, if this is has not yet been accomplished.
