John HAYCOCKS born 1st August 1810 ,Oswestry
christened 2nd September 1810 at St Oswalds church,Oswestry - Parents JOHN Haycocks and Margaret

I put in for years 1805 - 1815 and this was the only one for Oswestry

I agree with Allan that that is the likely Christening for your John.

But be careful as there is a another John/Margaret christening Children in Atcham, Shropshire, around the same time.

So finding the right Marriage for your John to a Margaret may be tricky.

The Atcham Haycocks seem to have christened 1st Child Sarah 04 June 1797 (under Haycoks on FreeREG)

So there is this Marriage that might be the Oswestry John/Margaret as it is after that date;
