Hello Carol,

I realise you posted this some time ago, but I've only just come across it.

I believe that these Court Rolls contain a number of references to both Jeremiah and John Wildsmith (Wyldsmith).  Is the information easy to summarise or post here please, as I'd love to see what is said about these 2 people who may be my distant ancestors.  I've traced my line back to a Joseph Wildsmith who married in Staveley (just a few miles away from Eckington) in 1713, but I've yet to track down his birth/baptism.

Yes there are a few references to Jeremiah and John

The information is on microfiche so I will have to type it out for you.  I'll try to do it at the weekend and get back to you.

I have Eckington Court Rolls on microfiche, but the bulb has gone in my fiche machine so can't help at the moment-  sorry.

I believe that they are hold in some libraries.
