I found this wonderful site with fabulous photos of Old Birmingham

The photo of the Horse and Dairy Dray is my favorite. My mother used to me a milkmaid with a horse and dray. She worked for Handsworth Dairies.

This link gives some old photos of Ladywood Birmingham.  They are the black and white ones half way down the page. 

If you hold your mouse over a photo it will give a caption for where it was taken.

thanks to every one who sent me great web sites to brows,dont live in brum anymore live in wales,but my family history is based around handsworth and ladywood so i love looking at the old pictures of how my ancesters lived thanks again
