Thank you Kiwi Girl. Your help has lead to a complete break thru on this branch. Just been chatting to the widow of Marston. Lovely lady who happily gave me all the details of children, grandchildren, maiden names dates and some wonderful stories. A comment by her cousin in law yesterday ("oh no it was his mother who was living in Rotorua") sent me back to Telecom/ directory and she was one of those people who has a short enough name to use that instead of innitials. Could kick myself for not thinking of that before
