Robert H and Jane Wilson

Robert Hamilton Wilson, Farmer, and Jane Wilson (nee Wilson) of Christchurch. This couple are detailed as the parents of Violet Elizabeth Wilson, of Belfast, on her marriage certificate dated 7/10/1909 (Violet was aged 25 and married Arthur Buchly) The witness was Gladys Wilson, Belfast, Chch.
 I am having difficulty in locating arrival in NZ, burial details etc for this couple. I ordered a death cert for a Jane Wilson buried with Robert in Kaiapoi cemetery however her maiden name was Mcconnell or similar.
Family history indicates that Robert and Jane may have come from Ireland.
I cannot locate Violet in the NZ Birth records either.  Would anyone have any information re these people? Regards, June

And the year of marriage is different to what you posted.

If it's of interest, here's a possible death for Violet but, assuming her age at marriage is right, her age at death is off by four years

May need to check the BDM NZ Deaths fiche for a registrstion district as there's no obvious deaths on the NZSG Burial Locator (which usually means the Cremation Society was involved)

It may be worth sending an email to the Christchurch Cremation Society as cremations don't show on the cemetery database

  Thank you all so much. The children that I have been advised by an elderly family member (and I have a photo of the parents and some of the children) are:  Robert, Gladys (married George Robertson) Caroline (married Fowl) Emmie (married Englefield) Ann (married Jack Murfitt) Sam (married Elsie?) half brother William, Mary and Meg. Thank you Althea this would be the Margaret. It appears that the half brothers/sisters may have been older than Violet Elizabeth and perhaps I should be searching for Robert and a Margaret arriving in NZ.   Violet and Arthur are cremated and their ashes are in the Linwood Crem. I will contact the cremation society to see whether this was a family trend. A shame that I cannot search today!Regards, June

I think this is the funeral notice for Robert Hamilton WILSON because North Road in Belfast is mentioned on Samuel's Cenotaph entry.

The notice says that he is buried at Addington Cemetery

You might want to get in touch with the cemetery website and tell them that they have the wrong middle intial for Robert. Also that they have Jane buried two and a half weeks before she died.
