Hi, the above born Sept Q 1896, last "seen" 1911 census she was at 14 - 24 Kirkdale Street, Sydenham, Lewisham was 15 and a Drapers Apprentice.. No death or marriage details to 1966. However we have "found" a person of the same name in a musical Bitter Sweet on Broadway 1929 - 1930 anyone got any hints on how/who we would contact someone to see if this is our girl. Are there records of people going to New York - I would presume it was after WW1..... Also would think for her to be in that she may have been in the theater in London before going to NY.... On An****ry a Mildred Allen Letts is showing up off and on the electoral registers from 1938-1958, also a Mildred A Letts in the phone books for London 1935-1950.

Hi in March 1968 Hove 5h 784 a Mildred A Letts married an Ambrose N Spong

Death Mildred Allen Spong birth 29th June 1896 Death March 1978 Worthing Sussex v 18 page 2353 aged 81

Additional, Mildred was the 3rd wife of Ambrose Noel Spong his death is recorded as born 26th December 1888 (it was in Steyning Sussex) death June 1976 Worthing v 18 page 1912 aged 87

There's a Mildred Letts - occupation "theatrical" - returning from Montreal in 1930 to 2 Broom st, London. Gives her age as 26 (ie b 1904) - suppose it could be her stage age!
