No I have not got his wife"s name . His service record did not disclose it.
I cannot find any Scottish marriage cert.
This sounds a very positive lead and I would appreciate any further info you have.

I will have to check 1911 Census to see what's in there.
I have never found another henry in Kilsyth , so here's hoping.

The 1911 Census has a Henry McPherson age 30 , second person Fanny McPherson age 28 living Midlothian

I now know that Henry McPherson (Kilsyth) died in Kilsyth in 1952  and his wife Fanny died in 1959.

Hi there fanny macwhiinie (macpherson) was my gran. Her father my great great grandpa henry macpherson.  Brought up in banton. Moved to kilsyth.
