Eyemouth Fishing Disaster
« on: Sunday 23 September 12 12:00 BST (UK) »
I am researching a family of fisherman, one of whom I know died in Eyemouth.  Does anyone know where I can obtain a full list of the fishermen who died on that day be it book, newspaper report etc.     Thank-you.

I did some research on this about 5 years ago
Very sad when looking at the 1881 Census and finding all the families that were affected by the disaster that was to happen later that year  :'(

family name Fisher - I believe Thomas was on board the Guiding Star reg in Eyemouth.  He would have left a family behind.
