There's a marriage for a Benjamin F. Stuckey in Holborn, London 1935 to an Ethel M I Wills vol 1b page 683. Can't see her on any passenger manifest though.

Possibly a short-lived marriage:

Ethel seems to have remarried (as Ethel I M Stuckey or Wills) in Westminster in 1938 to a Frederick Phillips and, following another remarriage in 1959, may have died as Ethel Ivy M Togwell in 1995.

Hi,

Didn't know about the TOGWELL marriage? Need to look that up. I think that having , an using, all three given names (Ethel Ivy May) is a great boon.

There is another Benjamin Stuckey mentioned in a family tree - Birth 8 Dec 1913 in London, England and died Mar 1983 in Rockville, Montgomery, Maryland.

Benjamin Stuckey - 8 December 1913 and died March 1983.
Last Residence: 20853  Rockville, Montgomery, Maryland,
SSN was issued: Florida (Before 1951)

The birth for Benjamin is registered Q1 - Jan, Feb and March 1914 so if the birth was registered late then this could be another possibility.
Coincidentally there is another junior version of the son who was on the 1940 census (same name and initial) living in Maryland.  ???

Discharges seamen :- Benjamin F Stuckey - 1913 and aged 32 years. Nationality :- British.
Port of Departure: Charleston, South Carolina  - Port of Arrival: New York, New York to Baltimore, Maryland on the Joseph Squires, arriving 14 April 1945

The Togwell marriage (Pancras, 1959) is a bit odd because her names are given in the index as Phillips or Wilkins (rather than Wills). However as you say she has a usefully rare combination of names and the death of Ethel Ivy M Togwell gives a birthdate of 14 Feb 1915 which is consistent with the Mar qtr 1915 birth registration for Ethel I M Wills in Medway district.

Family tree entry seems to be suggesting that Benjamin Frank Stuckey was married to Olivia Adeline Lee -
States death for Benjamin Stuckley as 1981 in Washington DC, District of Columbia,
(Haven't come across that one yet)

Olivia Adeline Lee - Birth abt 1917 in Arkansas and died  7 May 2008 in Tyler, Smith, Texas - 2 daughters from this marriage.
Its a little jumbled but I think its then saying that Adeline married David Henry Likes born  5 August 1914 and died 28 August 1986 in Texas.

Adeline and David show on FIND A GRAVE entries:-

Burials at Rose Hill Cemetery  Tyler Smith County Texas.

The Obituary for Adeline gives further info but does not mention Benjamin.

Hi folks,

Thanks for all your help. He did indeed marry Olivia Adeline LEE, and they were divorced in 1954. Hence he was not mentioned in her obituary. Based on the obituary, I have found offline one of the daughters of Benjamin Frank STUCKEY and exchanged e-mails.

So, a very good outcome. They now have a hitherto unknown cousin in the UK. More importantly, his one remaining brother - very old - at last has some information on what happened  Benjamin Frank.

Especial mention to "Sandra" and "avm88". Magnificent work.  But that's what I find with this hobby, generally we have all had a "brick wall" , and we all help each other towards demolishing it.
