Doris Amelia Mead née Howlett was in Jersey during the German Occupation as she has a registration card. Her date of birth is given as 18/3/1917.
There are 2 children listed on the back of her card, I think the first one must be from a previous marriage for Robert as that child's date of birth is 29/11/1927, the other child's date of birth is 21/7/1940.
The fact that the children are on Doris's card and not Robert's means that he was not in Jersey at the time, probably away in the armed forces. There is an application to return to Jersey after the war in the name of Robert Lionel Mead.
