« on: Saturday 13 October 12 12:56 BST (UK) »
Alfred Berry born about 1833 in Wickham Skeith Suffolk, the eligimate son of John Gissing and Sarah Berry. He was an Agricultural Labourer. He moved to Westmorland as a Gamekeeper. He married up there and had 5 children, and never moved away. I hope someone can help please.

Hi mostadome,
Alfred is my g.g.grandfather ( I live in Yorkshire).  His second son Frederick was also a gamekeeper/gardener/woodman working in Sussex, Shropshire (where my g.father was born) and ended up in Acrefair N.Wales.  Unlikely any Berry descendants in Westmorland as eldest son believed born and stayed in Suffolk.  Rest of his children were all female.
Regards,
KrizBee
