Hi Shane. Matthew S Cassan was the landlord for my great great grand father John Fitzpatrick and my grt grt grandfather John kenna also of Ballycarnan,A John fitzpatrick of ballycarnan is also shown in the Tithes of 1823 so I assume he is possibly the same John fitzpatrick or perhaps his father.a bridget fitzpatrick shown is also on my direct line of fitzpatricks..

Thanks again ,John

Thanks for this, I saw the Hargrove grave last month whilst searching for my grt grandfather john fitzpatricks grave and his father James's grave, sadly the stone is either knocked down and covered over or has disintegrated .My Father (rip) saw it about twenty yrs or so ago ,I think it was a basic stone marker with not much detail on it. I wonder who holds the records for this graveyard?I knew Tom Hargrove who was the last man buried there, he was a nice old guy with a bottle of guiness ready for any visitor, typically he had a john f kennedy and a picture of the Pope,RIP Tom
