   Christopher Ahern for many years ran the Adam and Eve pub in Cork City. He was married, in 1923, in Limerick, to Annie McDermott. Does anyone have any information about the parents or other ancestors of Christopher?

On looking on the ireland census www.census.nationalarchives.ie
I can see a Christopher Ahern age 15 in 1911 House 146 in Blackrock, Cork
Father Patrick Ahern, Mother Mary (I think O Brien) as father in law is with them
For Annie McDermott in 1911 Census House 17 Fredrick Place Limerick No 4 Urban.  There is Annie McDermott age 16 with parents John & Kate & siblings
John McDermott occupation given as Hairdresser.
