Rooney Family
« on: Sunday 21 October 12 14:03 BST (UK) »
I have a Lawerance Rooney married to Anne nee Dorna this surname hard to read on certificate. Residences at the time None, the cert is a birth which maybe a living child? place of birth Trim.
If I'v done my homework right address shown later Barrarck Street Mullingar. The above Lawerance may have a brother reference made of cousin to this birth child. Lawerance may have been born 1908's
Any Rooney people with these folk on their tree- I hope  ;)

Hello Grizzly 1
I shall keep the info you have forwarded as yet I am not that far back so there could be a family connection. I am not sure of the area you speak of is it near by to Mullingar?

Hi Murrell

Sorry, your original post is a bit confusing.

The person who you are referring to b 1928 in Trim could possibly be still alive so I can't post details re them but, so that we are on the same lines does this person's christian name begin with a D ?

Are you related to this D person ?

You know that his parent's were Laurence Rooney and Annie Doran (thanks Dathai for that) !

So, from here are you just trying to get this Rooney line to go backwards OR is there something else specific that you are looking for help with ?

Tara

Hi Tara, Yes you are right this person could be alive and because of that I did not state name etc. Sorry I'v confused the message. I know what I mean LOL
I have the birth cert hence the parents details. I am interested in gaining information about the family and also in tracing back in time.
Yes maybe there is a family connection I am hoping there is. !!!!!
In answer to your question is the christian name D? yes.
Thanks for your interest.  K

That's no problem at all, I just needed to stay 'within the rules' of this site.

You defo need to get Laurence's marriage to Anne Doran for a start as this will give you their parent's names and will make it much easier to go backwards !

Did you say that Laurence was a military man ?!

Have you ever identified him on the 1911 Census ?
