This lady is my late paternal grandmother.  I believe she was the daughter of a lady name Elizabeth Francis ....

so Margaret Francis is your Grandmother? Did she marry William Robert Griffiths in 1905, or someone else? When and where was Margaret born?

The answer to the first question is yes, the second is I think so. I don't know the answer to the third but I know someone who might.

Do you know when she died and how old she was? That may help track down her year of birth. Also if you buy her marriage certificate, that would give an address and her age.

There was a Margaret William who married Evan Griffiths in Llantrisant.  She was the daughter of Watkin William and Mary Davies.  Watkin's youngest son was Joseph William (aka Williams) a dissident minister who married Elizabeth Thomas bp at St. David's, Pembrokeshire 10.XI.1822.  Their daughters were Mary Jane 1846, Elizabeth Ann 1849, Anne Marie 2Q1851, and Matilda Martha, 1859, all born in St. Clears, Carmarthenshire.   Anne Marie married David Lloyd 10.IX.1878 in Carmarthenshire.
