His birth is registered in September quarter 1890 Newcastle upon Tyne reg district.. Do you know his parents names - the birth certificate would tell you this.
There is a Henry Lake in both those censuses but without knowing the name of his parents, it would not be possible to say they were the correct entries. Do you have any further information about his family?

Hi I believe he was the Henry Lake with parents Robert & Elizabeth, he also had an older brother Walter who was registered as Walter Graham Lake Dec qtr 1880 Newcastle T 10b 109 the marriage of the parents was Robert Lake to ( on same page) Elizabeth Graham Dec qtr 1869 Gateshead 10a 916

My grandfather Henry Graham Lake was born 15 June 1890 in Newcastle.
His parents were my great grandfather Robert Lake and my great grandmother Elizabeth Lake - formally Graham.
Hence my grandfather and myself have Graham in our middle names.
