Sorry I don't but know they had a son called Thomas Joseph nolan who married a Mary Frost Nolan and I know their childrens names.  The information I got was very vague and was from a great Aunt.  Thomas and Mary somehow ended up in Sydney in Australia and why they were there they had a daughter called Anne my great grandmother and ended up coming back to Limerick when there daughter was two.  Anne my great grandmother was born 1891 on February 8th.  I also know when they came back from Australia they had another seven children.  The reason that Thomas and Mary have both got the same surname is they were distant cousins.

Anne should be on the Irish Census of 1901 if the family returned here but I cannot see any record or not in 1911 either :) How sure are you that they returned to Limerick?

anne my greatgrandmother I found her in another town she was a nurse in a workhouse so I have her details in 1911 census.  Also the information what I got off a great aunt confirmed this but unfortunatly she is deceased now and so is my grandad and quite a lot of others who were great aunts and uncles.  I should be happy my great aunt left a booklet on the family but she has opened up a box which has made me wanting to know more.

I am convinced they returned to Limerick as my great great grandmother lived with her family for a quite a while after her husband died.  Also their other children were born in Limerick.  I have found the family in the 1901 census as well.  The only one I can't find is Anne's husband my great grandad but he was in the R.I.C. which I have wrote another post about but getting know where with that.

Thankyou for your help.
