Thank you all so much for all this information. My Luck yes that is the Christopher Carr and I know all the children from his second marriage to Susan Farrell and now thanks to Tara I have details of Christopher and Susan's marriage in 1878.

Marg p...I never considered that Patrick and Teresa might have emigrated. Thanks for that tip.

Teresa's maiden name was Murray from Patrick's St. Dún Laoghaire and I must have put the incorrect date for the marriage...I got the marriage cert some time ago but, my records are on another computer so I cannot double check.

I will order that death Cert for Patrick for 1913 and the possible remarriage cert for Teresa.
We feel that Patrick must have been reared by his mother's family McGuinness as there was no knowledge of him in any of the family folklore. My mother was born in 1916 so if Patrick died in 1913 she would not have known about him.

Thank you all so much - you have given me a new spurt of life for the search.

A little bit of an update on Patrick Carr.

He was the one who died on 4 October 1913 - thanks again for the lead! and since finding that out I have tried to find out what happened to his wife Teresa. Yesterday I was able to search the Deansgrange Cemetery details which have been put up by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and found a grave in the North Section with Patrick and Teresa who died on 9 May 1942.

I never knew these people but am so happy to have found their resting place.

Thank you Dathai.

I have all details of the children of Christopher Carr's second marriage. Now that there are records of Deansgrange Cemetery to be studied I will be finding people buried in graves...and this will start me off on a new search.
