Miriam before Marriage

Hey Guys, i'm just trying to reach back to an ancestor before marriage and not having much luck.

Her marriage certificate reads as follows;

1866 - Marriage solemnized at the Registry Office, in the district of Oldham
 In the County of Lancaster, 1st April 1866
Groom: William Whittaker, bachelor    Age: 24 years
Profession: Iron Moulder         Address: Side of Moor, Oldham
Grooms father: Edward Whittaker (DECEASED)
Profession: Iron Moulder         Bride: Miriam Jones       
Age: 23 years               Profession: Servant
Address: Horsedge Street, Oldham
Brides father: John Jones (DECEASED)   Profession: Saddler
Witnessed by: John Wolfenden, Ann Wolfendon
Performed by: William Kilner, Registrar
 
I have her on the 1871 and 1881 Census' in her married name, living in Oldham Lancashire and listed as being born in Mold, Flintshire but i cant find anything else (in part because i cant currently afford any site subscriptions)

Can anyone help, please

Having to look closely at 1861 for Miriam as it is throwing up an odd Miriam?

No Just checked back to 1851 their is a Miriam b c 1842 with father Thomas, which is the one being thrown up in 1861!

Maybe she'd moved to Oldham by then, the 1871 Census only lists her place of birth as Wales
