Margaret and Albert do not seem to marry in the Village.

The burials finish before Harry's death so also must still be held
at the Church.

No remaining headstones to Radwell's etc in the Village.

Thank you again

Harry Radwell and Kate Wards Marriage is on freebmds 1905 Wellingborough

It seems that Harry and Kate had a Daughter using the same name of Nellie born the same year and was unsure at first which one was my was my Grandfathers mother until l got her Birth cert and states address at birth Bulswick Lodge as on Thomas and Emilys 1911 census and that Harry was infact my grandfathers uncle thank you for the added information lm am writing it all down.

l also think l have found a picture of Thomas Radwell Harrys Father l could not find Thomas in the 1971 Census but came across Victorian Crime and Punishment site and found a Thomas Radwell aged 19 Born Old Weston Huntingdonshire sentenced to Ten Years for Arson wish l could prove it is Harrys father seems likely as can not see any other Thomas Radwells born that Time all very exciting :)

Linking this to your other topic Nadine.

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0sfm/

The marriage was in Wellingborough R.D. which covers lots of villages etc.

That Thomas sounds good to me. Love a highwayman or naughty lad.  ;D

Hi Nadine.

Just had a look at the link you meant for Thomas.

http://vcp.e2bn.org/prisoners/127-1-thomas-radwell.html

It might be an idea to ask on the Befordshire board if anyone could
look in the Newspaper at the Assizes for the time period to see if
any other information noted.

Then maybe you can rule him out if it is not him.

This gives you a bit more about the date and where he went to.

http://apps.bedfordshire.gov.uk/grd/detail.aspx?id=125

The only thing that is a slight worry is he is Wesleyan and
your Thomas's 1st marriage was in 1875?

Dear Nadine

I have been reading your articles regarding Walter James Radwell with interest. Harry and Kate Radwell from Wilby were my grandparents and one of their children Walter Arthur Radwell b. 16 March 1915 served in the Army during the WW2. My cousin Hazel, who is Walter's daughter is very interested in researching our family history from the Radwell side of the family. I would also like to know more about them too as we were never told anything of their background. My mother was Evelyn Alice Radwell b. 23 Sept 1921 and d. 1 Jan 2007.

Please feel free to contact me when convenient.

I look forward to your reply.

Regards

Geraldine and Hazel

Hi

Sorry l have not responded sooner but l have been rather busy, l will go through my information and put something together for you about the Radwell family.

This would mean that Walter Arthur would be my Grandfathers cousin, My Grandfather is the son of Henry's Sister Ellen (Nellie) Radwell. l also came across a picture of Henry's Brother Sgt Walter James Radwell which you may be interested in seeing ? My Granddad is very ill at the moment so to ask him anything wouldn't be possible just at the minute.

lt is lovely to see another family connection

Take care

Hi Nadine,

Thank you for your reply and I am sorry to hear that your Grandfather is not too well at the moment.

I have contacted my cousin, Hazel to let her know of your reply as she does not have a computer.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Kindest regards.

Geraldine
