Hello!

I found your question while hunting for information about the Florence Maud Salmon who married Sir Austin Bradford Hill. I am writing a biography about him, and don't have anywhere near enough information about her, although I have gathered a bit. They married in September 1923. He was from Loughton, and he said in an interview she came from Buckhurst Hill. They had 3 children, and she died in 1980. http://www.hawksheadbenefice.co.uk/inscriptions.pdf

Bios/obits of Austin Bradford Hill give her birthdate as 1892.

I would love to know as much as possible about the Salmon family.

Hilda

Her death registration can be traced as Florence Maud Hill in Brent district in Dec qtr 1980 - the recorded birthdate corresponds as 20 Sep 1892. You can see this index entry for free on www.freebmd.org.uk.
