Thank you for your help.
Yes, Caroline remains in Alveley, sadly I understand  she may have had a long term disabilty of some kind ??
It's her son James,that intrigues me,where ever I look I cant find him !
Hi on the 1891 census it states that Caroline was an Imbecile from birth

Hi

On 1851 Census Caroline is in the Union Work House Bridgnorth, James is not with her, I think that may be James was taken from her, and the Parish took over his care, there may be records for that,

I still can find no trace of James after 1861, did emigrated, did a family take him in and he as changed his name to there's, did he die :-\

So James would be 5 or 6 in 1851 census...we know where he was in 1861 aged 18  as an apprentice ,,and he still went by James Monk ...
do we know where he was in 1851 census ?

Hi

I can't see James on the 1851 census, but because of the the 2 Baptist's records, he may have been born around 1840, that's if is James and Carol on the 1841 census, and why would he have been baptised twice :-\

Many thanks to you all you help..very much appreciated..
my thoughts so far are -
I wonder whether James was baptised at home, and then later baptised in church....hence the 2 entries??

He becomes an apprentice...but then seems to dissapear ??...I wonder if his name got re-spelt another way in later years ??..possibly  MUNK or MONKS ?  :-\ :-\
