Hi,

And welcome to RootsChat.  :D

You will have to be a little more specific.  All on RootsChat are volunteers,  and we do not do general research but can try to answer specific lookup requests,  or give advice as to how to proceed.

If you require a lookup on a particular resource you will need to post a lookup request on the lookup request board: http://www.rootschat.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=48

We need to have all the information you have,  DOBs are particularly important.  If you want to post a more specific question,  please do,  we have lots of volunteers just waiting to help.

We look forward to hearing from you again,  and good luck.    :D

Cheers Kazza!  Please bear with me   I'm a learner.
Right! "Henry Smith"  DOB unknown.  D ied Approx 1897-1901. Was married twice.  Had 3 daughters by Ist wife, and one by second. She was named "Sena" and had to be fostered out because boyh parents died.  The people who fostered were named "Gardener" It is not nkown whether the were a married couple or briyher and sister. They also lived in Sophia St.  Unfortunately I have no further info on George Gale.   Thanks     Brodie

Brodie,

I am happy to help,  and do not worry that you are a learner,  we welcome complete novices on RootsChat,  everyone has to start somewhere.   ;D

It would be useful if we could find Henry on some Census materials,  unfortunately his name is rather a common one.

I will have a look for you on the 1881 census........
