Suffolk Census and Parish Record Availability


Suffolk Parish Records
Most of the surviving Anglican Parish Records are held at the Suffolk Record Office.  Microfiche copies are available.

Suffolk Census

1841 – 1901 Census information is available from Ancestry.co.uk by subscription,and on findmypast.com on a pay as you go basis.

The 1911 census is only currently available from findmypast.

1851
The 1851 census has been indexed by the Suffolk Family History Society and is available for sale at Genfair and from SFHS publications and online at Ancestry.com -subscription site.

The following parishes are missing, believed lost in 1851;
Dalham, Exning, Gazeley, Higham, Lidgate, Newmarket St Mary, Moulton, Ousden.

The transcribed 1881 census is available free of charge courtesy of the LDS;
