Maureen Short Bangalore

Maureen and her un named brother were born on a Coffee Plantation about 1920 in Bangalore India.  Her father was from Derby (his father was a doctor in Derby),. Her mother was Irish and came from Boscastle.Ireland.The father's surname was Short.. Maureen;s parents married in   India  very probably Bangalore.  Her mother was a nurse.

She died about 2007 in Portland Oregon USA  under the name of Maureen Rahman(Sait) .

She had 4 children 2 boys and a girl.  The youngest , a boy was born 8 October 1961 in Karachi.

I would be grateful if some of you wonderful people could add to this information.

It looks as if he may be Maureen's Uncle.?? Grandfather??  I understand from what I have been told that Maureen's Short grand father was a Dr in Derby. I had assumed she was the first generation born in India,

She was born 1922 in Madras and we have the coincidence of the Holwell Short dont we..  Thurston would not be her father, given the dates. Edward could very well be the Grandfather(DR?)

Place names very useful.

I have spent all day trying to find the Coffee Plantation that Maureen's father ran in that  part of India.

I can never find anything on familysearch org.  I must  be very dim.  Thank you so much.
