I think Hanford is listed on this burial index as Hadford:  http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nyorlean/cemsand2.htm

I was wondering if any one could help me,I am looking for some details on Hanford Dickinson and his wife Clarissa. they had a son called abel dickinson who was born in 1837 Michigan. i believe abel is the oldest followed by alonzo, tyler and melissa. i have a census record of them in New York in 1850, Orleans county.Any info on their parents Hanford and Clarissa would be greatly appreciated.

kind regards

Hi, my first attempt at this. The son Abel Dickinson did emigrate to New Zealand and married my Great-Great-Great Grandmother, they had 12 children. I have done some research on them if you are interested in the New Zealand family.

Hi Edesearch,

I think that makes us 3rd or 4th cousins once removed. Kicking myself for not taking down your email address before it was removed. I will do a few more posts, if I can figure out what I am doing ! and then we should be ok.
I am related to Elizabeth through her eldest son Edward Vanarsdale, my Great-great Grandfather.

cheers
Diana

Hi Edesearch,
I found some details of Isaac on Paperspast but have very little info on Edward or the other sibling. Re: the email address you sent, I can't remember the letters at the front if you want try again with that. cheers
