Trying to track down a birth certificate for Eliza ORR b31 Oct 1876 in Airdrie, Lanark.  Can't find one on SP although have found a bc for younger brother Samuel  Can someone help :'( :'(

A basic search on SP shows only one birth between 1876-1877 for an Eliza Orr in Airdrie - have you already discounted that entry?

Not the answer you are looking for, but the first address you give from the 1881 Census
Airdriehill Sq. is the village of Whiterigg, built and owned by United Collieries Ltd. in 1874
I have a photo of Airdriehill Sq. Whiterigg.

Many thanks for the reply.  The Elizabeth ORR listed on SP I have already checked.  Not only is the date of birth different but the names of the child's parents are completely different.  dob29.5.1877 f.John ORR m.Elizabeth PATERSON :o

If you search specifically on Elizabeth ORR for New Monkland between 1877 there is one result on SP.
